At Mzima Springs, fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water surge daily from underground volcanic rock. Visitors can observe hippos and Nile crocodiles swimming in underwater glass viewing chambers.
The high-security Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary preserves critically endangered black rhinos within a protected 90 sq km fenced enclosure.
